Interesting that the Vikings took as many Offensive players in the draft as the whole rest of the Division combined (4). The Packers drafted no offense. Of course GB had the worst ranked D in the...
Great draft so far. Got the OT to open holes for AP and keep Ponder upright and a great zone safety along with 2 extra picks. I agree we now must find a couple WR's with hands and speed, if...
I think Tampa believe Richardson will still be there at 5 without a trade. Speilman is doing his best to get them to think Miami or the Jets are going to trade up and steal him but I'm not sure I...
Our only real hope is that Tampa thinks the Jets trade is possible and Tampa trades with us to get Richardson. Don't think it will happen but when a team REALLY wants someone they can sometimes go...
Prepare for the Nashville Norsemen to invade on Oct 7th! SKOL!
Regarding draft picks, I think Webb was a good pick-up for the late rounds and Toby is a good runner so I'd "red" those two names. And TJ is a starting QB in the NFL with 3000 yds passing last...
Agree with the smokescreen theory.
This is just a way of trying to make teams think we are interested in a QB so maybe CLE or MIA will trade up for Tanehill and we can get a bunch of picks (and...
I helped found and have been the President of the Nashville Norsemen for 20 years.
I have 8-10 tubs of Vikings "stuff" including 2 bowling balls and Packers bowling pins.
I travel 900 miles to at...
Niners and Pats, with the Pats winning. Don't like the Niners but hate the Giants and the other purple team always just bugs me so what am I left with.
I am tired of the Pats being so good all...

Thanks. Nice article. Throws out a lot of stats that are interesting but most are meaningless.
Debate his scouting ability if you wish but Studwell was a great player (one of my all time...
Sounds like another average OL. 3 years on the practice squad means he's ok but can't quite play in the NFL. Good signing for a backup, emergency player assuming we didn't pay a lot.
I'll miss the Sauce. Thanks for all the years, brother.

That all depends on the trade, doesn't it?
These scenarios are a bit far fetched. He doesn't like Kalil for some reason. Says the Rams won't take him. I mean he thinks Kalil will fall to 7? No...

Sorry, must have looked on an old site. Regardless the DB coach has to go.

DB Coach Matt Sheldon has to go. I've never seen a set of DB's so confused every single week. They looked lost like they had no idea what scheme they were playing or what the coverage was half the...

Either scenario is good with me. Kalil is best, IMHO. But a CLE trade with Claiborne and a #22 pick should be great too.

Tice was screwed in MN mainly because he came to a team with old and over-priced players so all the veterans were cut loose and he was left to rebuild. I like Tice and know he'll be a good OL coach....

My 2 dream scenarios
1 - Draft kalil (which ever way we can)
2- trade to Cleveland for the #4 and #22. Take whoever we would have at #3 anyway and get a free 1st rounder at #22.
I'd love Kalil but if the Rams take him at #2 I think we can get a good trade from either Cleveland, Wash, or Miami. Cleveland has a #4 and #22 in the first round so a trade for these would be...
