Congratulations to Amanda for a great victory in the Minnesota Vikings Cheerleader Survivor Challenge 2008!  She will be receiving the following engraved plaque this week, and we will post pictures of her accepting the award.   Thanks to all the gals over at MVC for participating and helping make this one of the most hotly contested Survivor's ever.  SKOL!

I have to disagree with the person to runs this web page. It's no secret that Childress has preferred simplistic offensive game plans over the last three years, not to mention some issues making adjustments during the game. On the other side of this conversation you have to acknowledge the fact that he has produced a better record each season he's coached outside of his first year that saw the team drop off from Tice's the year before. We have some of the best talent in the NFL, we could possibly have a hall of famer at quarterback when it comes to the start of the season, and Childress has shown signs of more inventive play calling (wildcat anyone?). Even if Favre doesn't come to Minnesota this team is special to watch and we're lucky to have a team this exciting. I think its incredible how a bankrupt area like Detroit who has been an NFL doormat for a decade can somehow get a new stadium but we can't. Maybe if the state government got their head out of their ass's and actually did something favoring the large majority of their population instead of their own greedy ambitions then this situation could improve.
Just a few thoughts...

Childress has to go, what could he possibly be thinking about bringing that washed up "whining" Favre to the Vikes.
We are looking for a competitive team not a another losing season
