    Plaixco

Might be worth looking at ....... Could he help Ponder?

I think Plaxico could help Ponder.
The good thing about Plaxico is that he is an excellent red zone target.
He could be a desent mentor if he really has learned from his mistakes and you can always use some veteran leadership on a young team.
IDK, if we could get him cheap and I mean dirt cheap, I may consider, but far from a priority in my eyes.

I personally thought Plaxico looked a lot better last year than most give him credit for.

I would have no problem bringing him on board here ... but I also think that our receiving corps is kind of full. He would not be on the roster ahead of Harvin, Jenkins, Simpson or Aromashodu I don't think. So, if Childs and Wright are slated to make the roster, then I would rather them get a shot to show their value.

I mean ... if one of the kids flames out ... then fine, but that still leaves us with six guys battling for what is usually five spots.

He did look better, but the Vikings weren't interested in him last year & I don't think Spielman is interested in him this year either.

Plaxico snubbed us once before when we tried to sign him. That might play into the lack of interest now.

I have no interest, since I want to continue to see us build throught the draft.

I want to give Childs a chance to shine, and I think he will do just that.

I think we are still weak at linebacker, so if we bring in any free agents, I think it should be there.

a LB corps that will strike fear in the hearts of opponents.

We've got Brinkley (Missed all last season), Greenway (Good) and Erin (Showed promise).

    Outside of that, literally nothing.

So how are you liking Spielman now?

No thanks. We have no room for Chedder Bob on this team.
