Marrdro's annual 7 Round Mock Draft
Bet you guys/gals thought I wasn't going to get around to this - this year.:)
Don't matter how busy work is, gotta do my draft so that I can see how the draft will fall, at least in my head.
Couple of thoughts for you to think about as you go throw this.....
a. I don't put in any trades unless they had already happened before I worked this up.
b. I don't know the college players. Even though I made an effort this year to watch a bit more college ball, I still only scratched the surface.
c. For each team I make my pick for them using the following criteria:
1. Team Need. This is determined through a process of looking at their roster, looking at who they brought in and what, if any, coaching staff changes they might have made as it relates to the scheme I think they will run.
2. Best Player Available on my big board. Usually only look at about 5 players but in a few instances this year I did find myself taking a cat that was around 10 away.
d. I used the following urls to do my research on things like Big Board Rankings/Player Profiles//Free Agent Signings/Team Needs/Coaching Changes/Anticipated schemes:
If I had a conflict on a player, especially if he was a C2 CB or a 3-4 NT, I defered to my Ourlads Magazine.
So, having said all of that, take a look, see what you think, and most importantly, enjoy.

Alot of talk about the Vikes trading taking a CB or WR instead of an OT at 3. I went ahead and took Kalil based on the following assumptions:
a. Won't take a CB no matter how good he is. Mostly because they addressed the CB position in FA as well as with the return of Cook. Besides, a C2 scheme doesn't warrant taking CB's this high.
b. Won't take a WR here because of how deep this class is at that position.
How they came off the board........
