Never good when a player takes their grievances to the public. You either make your team look bad, yourself, or both.

I think our team looked bad before he even said anything.
Sometimes when things get vented & then printed publicly it benefits the team, like when Winfield stated Cotrell's defense was handcuffing the secondary or when he said Childress was not listening to his players enough.

I'd still rather have Erin on my roster rather than the former college soccer player Spielman will probably sign to fill his shoes.

Erin played better than his brother last season. I'd be glad to have him back, since we're not exactly doing anything about filling the holes weh ave at LB.

He seems to think he is worth far more than his actual value. Has he even been asked to visit ONE team? Kind of tough to demand "respectable" money when NO ONE else wants your services. He only played in a little over half the snaps last year.
Shut up and sign. When you are actually good you will get good money. Why must you defend everything this FO does....to the point of making your self look like a yes man.

I think he is better than EJ now...But before EJs injuries he was a beast and I really thought we had our ILB for the long haul. Sucks when injuries kick in. Erin had a great season last year and if the Vikings had done better as a team he would be getting his pay day. Truth is that he should sign a 1-3 years deal and wait to get his.

Players rarely come back to pre injury form in only one year. Last year EJ was just coming off a terrible injury. He will be better this year than last. Unfortunately it will likely be for another team.
Good chance Ced looks better this year also, although two knees can be difficult to recover from. Why must you defend everything this FO does....to the point of making your self look like a yes man.

I honestly would be glad to have both of them back. Erin has shown at least a little promise. Also, EJ should be better after getting a full season under his belt and figuring out his limitations.
Both of them are adequate and that does not bother me too much considering our other options and lack of pursuing any of the better talent available.
