Dallas Shopping Mike Jenkins
After trading up to get Morris Claiborne it appears the Cowboys are trying to recoup some picks by trading cornerback Mike Jenkins. Jenkins, a first round draft pick out of South Florida in 2008, has an expiring contract worth a little over $1m remaining.
I'd be willing to give this guy a shot. He's fallen out of favor at times in Dallas, but is young and talented. He'll be motivated after Dallas phased him out this offseason. With the limited time and money remaining on his deal and our surplus of picks, this is a low-risk high-reward situation.
So long as we don't give up our third rounder this year(or sacrifice our ability to move up into the second again,) I'd be pretty happy with him.
edit: I guess I should include a source.
