So like 50 years down the road are players going to have to start wearing 3 digits?
Or do we unretire the numbers when we start running out.
You can still honor the player by putting them in a team HOF or Ring of Honor etc.
Rock out with your cock out!!!

The Green Bay Packers are wasting little time finding a way to show Brett Favre some love....

Re: Wow Here's a shocker! Packers to retire #4
The players who have their numbers retired were truly great and did alot for their franchise.
There will never be players like them again
Tark - brought excitement to the position, and brought the team to 3 superbowls
Tinglehoff - one of the best linemen to ever play the game
Jim Marshall, Alan Page, Carl Eller - Purple People Eaters
'nuff said
Cris Carter - Number 2 all time in almost every major receiving category behind the great Jerry Rice
Korey Stringer - Died during practice, was a good linemen, but retiring his number was more out of respect for him rather than his playing ability.
in over 45 years of existance, only 6 numbers have been retired from the vikings
in over 85 years of existance, only 4 have been retired from the packers.
I don't think we are in any risk of running out of numbers anytime soon unless we all of a sudden retire a bunch of numbers from the same position.
