Re: Who has the best pass rusher in the division?
Kampman is great, I would love to have him on my team. That said, Jared Allen is the class of the NFL.

VikesFan787, Thanks for the awesome sig!

A guy by the name of Mario Williams isn't bad... or Strahan... or UmenyioraTo be completely honest, I think Kampman is a better pass rusher than Allen cause he has more esperience than Allen and he doesn't have any off-field problems like Allen has. Kampman had 15.5 sacks last year and Allen had 15.5 sacks this year. Not much seperates them and I think both of them are in the top 5 best defensive ends.
Top 5 DEs in the NFL today:
Jason Taylor
Julius Peppers
Aaron Kampman
Jared Allen
??????Disclaimer: I'm an idiot.

There is no question that he can play the run. Many NFL experts said he is just as good as stoping the run and russing the pass. Maybe you should watch the film of him against Peterson last year."BloodyHorns82" wrote:

I am interested to see how Allen takes to the 4-3, how well he holds up against the run, and the million dollar question, can the passing offense help keep that defense off the field. We know you can run the ball, but can TJ step up. Personally I think he turns the corner yet, but seems we both have the same type of questions this year. Can our 1st string QB cut it?

His effectiveness will IMO be soemwhat offset by the speed and abilty of the packer receivers to get open early and often against the vikes. somewhat like when favre set the TD record in Minny

Doesn't Rodgers still have to get them the ball? Allen will be there before that happens or Henderson, Robison, Edwards, Pat, Kevin........ you get the point. Choose your poison."marstc09" wrote:

Re: Who has the best pass rusher in the division?
Very seldom does the packers do more than a 1 or 3 step drop. very seldom do you get sacks against those. That is why the packers have been one of the leaders against sacks the last few years.
Also, if you saw the Packer-Cowboy game, Rodgers was impressively elusive. Much more agile than Favre. It will be fun to watch.12 Championships with more on the way. GoPackGo!
