Well, Well... The Vikes are making a run....

I haven't posted in a while, but I wanted to drop by and wish a couple works of Congrats on the Vikes and there disposal of a couple of pretenders. The Giants got exposed for the shame that they are... and the continued fall of the Lions was expected. However none of that takes away a single ounce of credit to the Vikings for the turn around within the season.

TJ has seemed to have the NFL lightbulb go off in his head.. his pocket presence, decision making and willingness to depart the pocket if the play goes south have done a complete 180. With the Packers playing back to back Thursday games, I got to scan the Sunday Ticket and catch some Viking football.

Why you ask.. I had a feeling a couple weeks ago that you boys would be making a run and claim a playoff spot. But I have this sneaking thought that you will knock off either the conference champ from the South or West as well. And if the seeding holds firm... you will get a crack at Dallas again... TJ plays ball of the past couple weeks.. I think you give Dallas a run for their money.

As for my beloved Packers.. we got it handed to us last Thursday night. We looked scared and flat starting the game and looked like we tried to hit the early "Home Runs" to boost the confidence. Needless to say.. it didn't work and we dug ourselves a hole. However we made a game of it.. this week will be telling of what type of team we have.. can we pick ourselves off the mat an get back on track. I have all the faith in the world we will... one game doesn't make a season.

Anyways... congrats again on the season "reborn" and continue the run for the postseason.

I for one hope you are right with your prediction with one exception.
I, along with a few on here wouldn't mind a bit of a rematch against your Green and yellow team.

Want a unbaised opinion... I think if you face Dallas if all holds true.. you may get your shot at us again.. that is if we make it that far. Dallas's run defense is over-rated... the numbers make it look better because teams have to pass to keep up with the offense... Add to that a balance of AP and Taylor running left... I like the odds... run the freaking ball right at Ware.

The future looks bright for AP, Rice, maybe TJ and the Vikes.. you boys have enough pieces of the puzzle.. just gotta have Chilly put that puzzle together.

That would be very cool for all the talk about the North being so weak comming into the season.. talk about shutting up the talking heads..

I do have to tip my cap to those that deserve it.. and the Viking rebound midseason is worthy in my opinion.. continue on my Purple friends..
