Check ya later hillbilly Favre! It was fun sweeping you this year!

the tables have indeed turn. Last year Green Bay wins on last second field goals, this year the Vikes do it

this season stung, to say the least, at least its over.

Yeah, they definitely did turn. Over all the Favre years he sure made it tough for our boys to beat the packers. He is/was a great competitor but if he leaves I for one will be extremely happy.

I get the most pissed off looks from people with my VKG 4 LFE Wisconsin license plate, and I LOVE IT!!

I am glad that Favre can verbalize this.

Of course the GM is going to say they want him back to the public. Can't say otherwise.

I will miss Favre. It won't feel like we are playing "The Packers", it will feel like we are playing "the packers." The rivalry won't be the same to me. IMO!!

I watched that game yesterday, because it might be his last game. I think he will be back though at some level with some team.

...Just thought I'd resurrect this thread here, so that you Vikings' fans who once hated Favre and are now goo goo for him, can see the negative things you once said about him. And just so you know: ALL IS FORGIVEN!

Heh. There's some quality in this thread.

    Hahahah that's funny

Face it: Vikings getting Favre = the team staying in Minnesota! Renovation will definately be on the way. And no more of those "sell my tickets to Steelers' fans, causing there to be like 10,000 Steeler supports at the game in Minnesota, causing Tice to be very angry, viking fair weather fans"
I would rather see Sean Hill start for a season. At least he might throw less picks.

Well its all a moot point if we don't get our offensive line to start working together better.
The sieve is back in Minnesota on the O-line.
Some times Brad held the ball too long, but every game this year that he's been in (and Culpepper too for that matter) he's been under incredible pressure from the other teams' defenses.
We can't stop a blitz to save our life and the other teams figured it out.
    Without an O-line gues what?
    No running game.
    No passing game. No offense.
We used to be known for the O-line.
We're still known...for having the crappiest one around.....

    So Wilf---keep upgrading the defense....fix O-line.
    Then we'll be fine.

Oh yeah...don't forget...can Tice and hire Favre as the third string QB.
    Ha. If only.

No, Brad Johnson is better and the Viking's marketing department wouldn't like selling Favre to the fans.
    Hee. Hee.

And at least one person has stuck to his guns, all these years.

    Yes I do.

The Vikings need a new towel boy in the locker room.

    Hell no,

Because I for one don't believe the injuries the Packers have had are 100% to blame for Favre throwing bad passes, into double coverage & making poor decisions.

I hate to admit it (because it was Bono), but this was a great thread dredge.
