Sportscenter sucks up to Favre

If you have never looked (as it is apparent you haven't) he does have INSANE stats and has a Super Bowl win and another trip. He is definitely arguable as a Top 5 QB and hands down is one of the top 10 QBs to ever play. I mean I hate him too, but he is definitely better than Marino, Bradshaw, Tarkenton (no SBs and worse stats) and Aikman ... the only ones I definitely put above him are Montana, Unitas and Elway ... it gets muddy after that.
So lets not let ourselves look ignorant because we don't like the guy. He is 2nd all-time completions and TDs and 3rd all-time in yards (No. 2 by the end of this year) and is the only three-time MVP. And he has thrown 30 TDs in a season more than any other QB. And he has played in every game since WEEK TWO of the 1992 season ... that is unreal. I don't know what you qualify as great, but you are being a little unreasonable ...

Speaking of kissing his @ss, midgensa are you a part of the media somewhere?!! lol

I doubt it! We wouldn't have even gone 15-1 with him. Sure he gets you a couple few wins a year himself, but he also loses a couple games a year too by doing stupid sh!t!

Agreed. He is usually good for at least mental meltdowns a season. Especially when we smacked 'em around last year in the playoffs!

The media has a wet dream over him just because he loves to play football. So do a lot of players.

He isn't even a top 5 QB in the league right now, he's still living off his superbowl win which happened almost a decade ago.

The media was all over Marino until he retired too, part of the benefits of being an all-time great.
He definitely has had some good years since 1997 ... just because you don't get to the Super Bowl does not mean you had a bad year ... though he is without a doubt not a top 5 QB in the league anymore. His QB rating warrants consideration though considering he had a 90 + QB rating the last two seasons.

I just don't see much the media can do differently as far as Favre goes. I mean he would have got blasted after the playoff loss, but Moss stole the show with that. He did get blasted after that god awful pass against the Iggles a couple of years ago ... what do you guys want the media to do? I mean most of the experts (except for Salisbury and Berman's sorry asses) do not call him a top 5 QB anymore or anything like that ... do you want them to just start sh*tting on him for no reason?
