Sportscenter sucks up to Favre

If anyone saw the 5PM central version of Sportscenter today you saw the media sucking up to Favre! It was horrendous...and as I said it in the overrated/underrated thread, the media PUT HIM IN THE TOP 5 of ALL TIME!? It was Salisbury none the less....but dang man, HE IS NOT A TOP 5 QB...HE NEVER WILL BE! Top 5 includes Montana or Unitas or Marino or Elway or Bradshaw or Tarkenton or Aikman....players with either INSANE STATS or a history of winning SUPER BOWLS! Manning will be there someday, Peppy could be as well....no Favre...he's doesn't even break the Top 10 as far as I'm conserned....muthatrucking MEDIA!!!

If you have never looked (as it is apparent you haven't) he does have INSANE stats and has a Super Bowl win and another trip. He is definitely arguable as a Top 5 QB and hands down is one of the top 10 QBs to ever play. I mean I hate him too, but he is definitely better than Marino, Bradshaw, Tarkenton (no SBs and worse stats) and Aikman ... the only ones I definitely put above him are Montana, Unitas and Elway ... it gets muddy after that.
So lets not let ourselves look ignorant because we don't like the guy. He is 2nd all-time completions and TDs and 3rd all-time in yards (No. 2 by the end of this year) and is the only three-time MVP. And he has thrown 30 TDs in a season more than any other QB. And he has played in every game since WEEK TWO of the 1992 season ... that is unreal. I don't know what you qualify as great, but you are being a little unreasonable ...

Lol, that definitely is funny ... and I wish a lot more of them had gotten done that way.
I am not trying to kiss his ass or anything, but facts are facts ... if he was our QB in 1998 we would have won the Super Bowl, hands down, no question, Randall was great, but does not have that Favre will to win, whenever Favre has had talent behind him he has gotten the job done. If it was not for the Cowboys and 49ers greatness in the 90s (and yes the 9ers were great despite only one title) the Pack would have won more, those seven or eight years definitely were the strongest one conference has ever been with those three teams ...

I doubt it! We wouldn't have even gone 15-1 with him. Sure he gets you a couple few wins a year himself, but he also loses a couple games a year too by doing stupid sh!t!
