Re: shows how good packers are
I don't think anyone is worried about Billvike's opinion, he has proven time and time again that he is an idiot.
This is the same guy that posted how he thought it was funny when favre's dad died.
I don't think last nights game proved a whole lot.
The Cowboy's won a close game at home with the help of some key injuries to the Packers and some bad calls by the refs.
Even you Viking fans that watched that game and continually try to say that the refs favor the Packers, have to admit that the Packers were on the wrong side of some bad calls last night.purplepride.org: Home of Disillusioned Vikings Fans World-wide

I am one that always cries about calls.
The one call that was bad was the INT taken away from Harris when he stripped the ball from TO.
Other than that, I don't remember any others.
I didn't watch the entire game though.

The pass interference at the end where their feet got tangled up, the ref right there called incidental contact and the flag was thrown 20 seconds after the play was done - this gave Dal the ball at the GB 5 yard line."superior230bartime" wrote:

The spot of the ball on a clear first down by Grant that forced the packers to kick a field goal instead of keep a drive going for a touchdown, a couple of face masks that should have been
the 5 yard ones were ruled 15 yard face masks.
Every controversial call was ruled in Dalls favor and was acknowledged by the announcers and analysts after the game.
I'm not pointing this out to whine and state the Packers were robbed, just trying to make a point to all of the "refs favor the packers" guys on this board that the Packers get their share of bad calls too.
Even if the only bad call was the int by Harris that you acknowledged, that was a huge call that woould have given the Packers the ball back at around the Dal 30 yard line instead of allowing them to drive down for a field goal - this could have been a huge difference in the game.
In my opinion, that game proved more that if the two teams meet up again in an evenly reffed game where the Packers are healthy, the Packers can definitely compete with the Cowboys.purplepride.org: Home of Disillusioned Vikings Fans World-wide

I don't think his arm was enough to cause the PI, but I also don't think that getting their legs tangled was "incidental" by any means.
If he hadn't been all over his back their legs would not have gotten tangled.Zeus wrote:

Re: shows how good packers are
I hate both teams. So my unbiased opinion between the two is that they are both pretty damn good teams. One major difference was Romo vs Favre.
Romo looked Brady like and Favre looked like someone who is less relaxed in big games. I don't know why. Favre has been spectacular for the most part this season.
It was a good game. There is still a lot of season left and things can still change. It's all about who gets on a roll come playoff time. But Green Bay has some amazing young players that have surprised most of us.“What takes a quarterback to the next level is not arm strength or mobility or any of that stuff. It’s the ability to play on critical downs. Manage third downs, or red zones or four-minute or two-minute situations"

I have to agree with Nodak.
It could have gone either way and IMO it should have been called.
From my view it looked like the everything was pretty intentional to include the leg entanglement.
Again, that's just my opinion.

I do not like the Pack, but I realize that they are playing good ball and going about it quietly.
I read people yapping about easy schedule.
But this is the NFL and anything can happen.
I think you would have to have pretty big blinders if you truly believe that Pack sucks.
Even better than I expected, however, as we saw tonight when Lord Favreeeee gets outside of McCarthy's scheme and reverts back to "Chuck it Deep Brett"
and they have to rely on thier backups they will do bad.
Injuries killed them, but damn you would think thier backups would put up a better fight.
Only one that I saw coming off the bench and impressing me was thier young QB.
Another thing that has been chapping my ass is the fact that everyone keeps saying they are the youngest team.
Hey, guess what, they are right, they are the youngest team but by only 1 year.
Someone do the math for me to make sure I didn't do it wrong.
