Ryan Grant loses $1,350,000.00 on overturned call

    http://www.jsonline.com/sports/packers/36816114.html
As it was, Grant finished with 1,203 yards. If he had reached 1,250, he would have had $1.5 million tacked on to his 2009 base salary of $750,000 instead of the $500,000 that he gained by surpassing 1,000 yards.

Also, Grant finished sixth in the NFC. He qualified for a $150,000 incentive for ranking among the top 10 but just missed an extra $350,000 for ranking among the top five. Chicago's Matt Forte was fifth with 1,238 yards.

He had it and lost it. ;D

Overturned call costs Ryan Grant $1.35M
    Ryan Grant - RB - GB - Dec. 30 - 2:40 pm et

Ryan Grant lost a $1.35 million bonus due to an overturned call in Week 17.
Referee Ed Hochuli correctly reversed the ruling after Grant scored an 80-yard touchdown. The resultant 21-yard gain kept him from finishing with the 1,250 yards that would have given him a Top-five finish in the NFC. Dec. 30 - 2:40 pm et

    wow...

Of course, if he would've stepped up after his contract hangover at the start of the year, the one call would've been a non-issue.

I was thinking the same thing.
At least they said that the reversal was the correct call.
