    Pass the bucket ....

I suppose this is the actual hype we should be hearing this week.

" All year the Vikings have been dealing with adversity. The schedule makers, the refs, the commisioner, everyone has been out to get them. Led by their fearless leader, Chris Hovan, they have overcome adversity and now pose an astonishing 6-4 record despite these circumstances. Inspired by this being a contract year for him, Hovan goes for solo tackle number 11 on the season. This is an unheard of amount for a defensive lineman this early in the season. Will he get it against the Jaguars? Tune in and find out!!!!!"

But come on everybody. It`s not everyday a quarterback makes his 200th career start. I honostly wouldn`t be surprised if Micheals and Madden talked about the 200th start. It`s worth talking about.
If it was a simple as that then it wouldn't be a problem and I'll acknowledge that a 200th start is something to be recognised. However various sections of the media seem to have a contest to see how far they can get up Favre's back passage - even some packer fans have acknowledged that the media hype is way over the top.
Unfortunately some don't realise how much this hype makes people sick of the guy- and that's not just fans of the other NFCN teams either

No we wouldn't , then again it would never be on the same scale as St. Brett gets now - so we wouldn't feel that we have to keep justifying how good our QB is in the same as packer fan do.
Most HOF QBs have let their achievements and play do their talking- Only Favre's legions feel the need to have to keep pushing him forward - you guys that worried that the rest of the league might forget about him ?

I think what he trying to say is if Brett Favre was on...oh lets say the Arizona Cardinals instead of the Green Bay Packers, you would all be saying it was a great accomplishment. Or atleast I think that is what he`s saying.

I dont blame you guys for not liking Favre, but he is one of the most respected players to ever don an N.F.L. jersey. He has nothing whatsoever left to prove to anyone, anywhere. Ya, he may also be a media "darling", but he's earned that through his actions & his play.

I hated Aikman for years when he was beatin' the Pack, but I sorta like him now. So I see way you all hate Favre.

When you all say Dawn-tay is "better", are we judging on the last 14 weeks, or the last 14 years?
