    Packers Scrimmage

Watched some of the Packers scrimmage on NFL Network tonight.

    Anyone else scouting the enemy?

If the second team offense walks all over their first defense, we should have a great time this year spanking these pansies.

Aaron Rodgers....folks should hope Favre stays heathly just enough to be belligerent enough not to sit down...he has good instincts, but I bet they fail under pressure.

SKOL Vikings! 2 victories chalked up!

I watched long enough for Favre throw a touchdown in the 2 minute drill. It was kind of funny..... The reciever blaintently pushed off the defender in front of the ref, but no penalty was called. I suppose it was to give the Hillbilly Packer Fans a glimmer of hope for the season that Favre can still make plays.

I only watched a bit of it also. Rodgers thru an inteception in the endzone.

My question is why does a 4-12 team get prime time coverage for a scrimmage?

Was the only televised scrimmage on NFL this year the Packers?

I agree - the amount of coverage Favre & the Packers get just makes me sick. As we approach pre-season, I'm looking for real news on real impact players on real impact teams in the NFL. Last week on ESPN radio it seems everytime I turned it on they were debating Brett and how his new head coach called him out on the 5 interceptions he threw during a practice. Who the hell cares? There are 31 other teams in the league, nearly all of them with a better chance to make an impact in the playoff picture than the Packers, and we have to be innundated with the latest Favre news. Screw the Packers.

No, I can't remember who, but there are some other scrimmages being shown on NFL NEtwork. I would think that watching two teams scrimmage would be a lot more exciting than intrasquad scrimmages. Give the network time to grow and I'm sure Vikings vs. Chiefs will be on there.
