Re: Packers may allow corporate patches on practice jerseys
don't NFL teams already do that with Nike, Reebook, Under armour ect?
Are they talking about corporations or charities?
I could see the team sponsering something like, if you donate x amount of dollars
the you get a 1 at teh Vikes practice to the day ect and all money goes to that charity. The players would wear patches for said charity that day or week or whatever.

Do they make enough money? Will they ever believe they make enough money? Personally with the taste they have developed for the stadiums they want teams to have I believe they are going tp need many new streams of revenue."UffDaVikes" wrote:
Check out the CFL jerseys, they would look something like that."pack93z" wrote:
IMO to get the stadium they want their game jerseys should look like a Nascar fender.Lets see there are at least three teams that are already sporting a patch in the days after the announcement.. don't worry your purple and gold will be following suit.. any place to add revenue these days.. I think with the stadium issues the Vikes are facing.. it might be wise to accelerate the process a little.

Personally, I'm not a big fan.
NFL makes enough money and is the most successful pro sports league in the continent, don't do crap like that for a quick buck.
Practice jerseys are fine, Don't mess with the game jerseys.
Before we know it, we'll be seeing Pizza Hut nameplates on the back of jerseys instead of names, like little league baseball.

The players wear that gear on the field.
Reebok makes all the jerseys, I'd expect them to have logos on equipment.
What I don't want to see is the Vikings 5 years from now having a big Home Depot patch on their shoulder.
