Packers could lose Barnett, Chillar
Packers could lose Barnett, Chillar
The Green Bay Packers are dealing with two significant injuries among their line backing corps, coach Mike McCarthy said. Nick Barnett (wrist) and Brandon Chillar (shoulder) missed practice Wednesday and are both set to receive second medical opinions this week.Any man who afflicts the human race with ideas must be prepared to see them misunderstood. - H.L. I hate to improve our division chances through opponent's injuries(a recent acquisition may help too.) But I'll take it. Let's see Clay Matthews blitz all day with a 3rd stringer at MLB and AJ Hawk in the other spot.

And their pass protection may get even worse now, not that Tauscher is very good.
Veteran right tackle could miss significant time
Right tackle Mark Tauscher was held out of practice on Wednesday and listed on the injury report with a shoulder issue. According to an NFL source, there is fear that Tauscher’s injury is serious and he could wind up being sidelined for a significant period of time.Any man who afflicts the human race with ideas must be prepared to see them misunderstood. - H.L. Yes, the Vikings prospects seem to be improving even as the prospects of their rivals worsen.
That's just the way it goes sometimes......when it goes in our favor......we smile and take it.
Often enough, it will go the other way.
However, we'll know a lot more after the Jets game.
All the potential in the world is still potential until we make it real by getting real-world results. It's what you learn after you know it all that counts.

Classy as always, Mars...
Brady Poppinga will play the middle, not Hawk.
Tauscher is hurt too, Mars, so gloat about that also.

Here's "the list"
Al Harris-PUP
Atari Bigby-PUP
James Starks-PUP
Justin Harrell
Morgan Burnett
Brandon Chiller
Nick Barnett
Johnny Jolly- Suspended for year
Mark Tauscher
I suspect if it were the Vikes, they would be scrambling to replace all or most of these via trades, waivers, etc.
I further suspect that the Pack will do little or none of that.
Personally, I don't care if the Pack does or doesn't. Part of the fun is seeing who can step up and play. We Packer fans have already seen quite a bit of that.
We roll differently in GB, as I have said on another thread. It may work, it may not...I'm sure the stands will be filled every game, and the Pack will be in Lambeau next year and beyond. The rest is pure speculation.

Yea, like they did with EJ. Went out and got, wait, nope, Jasper stepped up.I suspect if it were the Vikes, they would be scrambling to replace all or most of these via trades, waivers, etc.
Yea, like they did when Whinny went down last year. Went out and got, wait, nope, Asher stepped up.
Truth of the matter is, this staff has been pretty good about having a replacement sitting on the bench ready to go in alot of instances were we needed someone to fill in.
Randy, this year, is another story, but I think is the right choice, especially after they tried several other options with limited/to no success.
A third round pick for a HOF WR is pretty hard to pass up.Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.
