Re: Packer Scrimmage
and you know what,
i am ashamed at how the very newspaper i work for: milw. journal sentinel (one of our writers) covered the scrimmage. He wrote that it was a Bills' 14-0 victory.
14-0?
First off, it wasn't even a game, man!!! How do you get a score...a winner/loser out of a scrimmage? Secondly, where did 14-0 come from? If we're keeping score -and we shouldn't be- Favre threw like three TDs alone. So, there's no reason for a 14-0 outcome.

Re: Packer Scrimmage
even if it was "just a scrimmage" u still got wooped by another team who was "just scrimmaging", u got manhandled by the opposing team, nomatter how you look at it, you got wooped... plain and simple..

Re: Packer Scrimmage
Florida,
how can one get wooped in a scrimmage? One must contend in order to either get the win or the loss.
I would sure like to go up to Minnesota and watch the vikings practice. I wonder how many times Culpepper and the offense got their butts handed to them by the their defense, eh?!
Anyone in here ever watch the Vikings practice? How many 80-yard bombs has Culpepper dropped on them for the offensive WIN? How many times has the offense allowed Culpepper to get sacked in the closing minutes...handing the scrimmage victory over to the defense?
Has the Viking offense had the most success thus far this "scrimmage season"? If so, I would like to predict the Viking defense is doomed!!! And visa versa.BonoSugaRay IS Betamethasone Dunkin

Re: Packer Scrimmage
I was just angry on the day of the scrimmage. I was in Green Bay with one of my friends, and we couldn't get anywhere. There were streets closed down, people running around everywhere, traffic bumper to bumper. This would be fine....if it was opening day! It's a scrimmage! How can 62,000 people come out to watch what essentially boils down to a subpar version of a pre-season game? I don't think it has anything to do with team loyalty or passion, I think it has to do with a lot of people having a lot of time on their hands.
