All I have to say is...
If Packer fans are tarded, what does that make Vikings "fans"?
They can't even sell out their opening game.
Not tarded at least, just weary from the prior season, new head coach and fairly new owner.
Any other "brain busters"
That, my friend, is the definition of a fair weather fan.
Your fans could learn a lot from our fans.

It might take a couple of years for it to sink in but after Brett retires and your team slips further
into mediocrity (worse than it is now) the waiting list for ticket sales will dry up and you will go through the same issues we are now.
Re: Packer "fans" are tarded
They are playing that stupid F-ing Packer song on KFAN right now.
Blasphemy!

Ummm no...
We had "issues" too in the 70's and 80's (much longer than your isssues), and that wasn't a problem.

What makes you think it'd be any different in the future?

I am very aware of your history and unique situation there in Lambeau.......

Thanks for the link though.......
In this day and age of instant gratification, a loosing team won't draw fans like it used to.
Once the Puckers start loosing and slip further into the cellar your fan base will dry up as well.
Again, might take a couple of years but it will happen my friend.

We are witnessing a Packer fan slowly accepting (or denying) the fact that his team is entering an abyss.
Somewhat defensive, aren't you mi317? You're just further proving that this topic name is right on.
If you want to witness a team on the rise, just watch the Vikings over the next couple of seasons.

I guess I can't refute a prediction based on a "gut feeling" rather than by facts, history, or reasoning.
All I can really say is that, like most franchises, we don't need instant gratification to sell out our tickets.
And my "gut feeling" is that we won't in the future.
If anything, a slump is a great way to go see your team without paying insane prices for a ticket.

I live in NYC, or else I'd be there.
Also, Minnesotans don't just sitting around all day raping farm animals. If they had that much free time, the game would probably be sold out.

And that my friend will be your first indicator that all is not well in Packer land.
Owner ship will see, at first, a slight drop off of members on the waiting list as well as a few not renewing/letting them go.
To counter this they will attempt a PR push and if necessary (and at that point it will be necessary) a decrease in ticket price.
Not a gut feeling my friend.
Just a big picture snapshot.
;D
