Re: Jumping ship and becomming a Viking Fan?

I am sorry but I can never cheer for the Packers unless it is a must win game that would put us in the playoffs but until then there are so many possibilities. On that note GO LIONS GO!

Well we accomplished our part.. disposed of the Lions.. helping our cause and yours.

Here is to a Viking win, getting you at least back into the playoff race.

    1 Dallas Cowboys NCE 10 1
    2 Green Bay Packers NCN 10 1
    3 New York Giants NCE 7 3
    4 Seattle Seahawks NCW 6 4
    5 Tampa Bay Bucs NCS 6 4
    6 Detroit Lions NCN 6 5
    7 Washington Redskins NCE 5 5
    8 Arizona Cardinals NCW 5 5
    9 Philadelphia Eagles NCE 5 5
    10 Carolina Panthers NCS 4 6
    11 Minnesota Vikings NCN 4 6
    12 New Orleans Saints NCS 4 6

Seriously.. a Win tomorrow puts you one game out of a playoff spot dependant on tiebreakers.. after this weekend with 5 games to go.. not out of the question.

Okimo-bokimo...aside from Dallas, Green Bay has NO ONE on their schedule worth a fart in a hurricane.
We, however, have the Giants, 'Skins, and Broncos (alright, Denver is struggling...but they're better than Oakland or St. Louis).
No, there was no way I was hoping Green Bay would win...but they did.

Detroit folded up and died in the 2nd half...defensively anyway.
And Kitna looked like Harrington at times.
Credit where credit is due, Green Bay took Detroit apart and made sure everyone knows who this years softest schedule....errr....power...yeah, that's what I meant....power... in the NFCN is.

As for us beating the Giants...They've been playing some pretty good football, and we haven'ty fared too well of late versus teams who have a basic understanding of the game.
    We'll see what happens...

Here is why I think this game is yours for the taking.. the Giants are smallish up front on Defense.. heck they at times lined up 6 DE along the front 7.. yes 6 out of 7 (Mathis (sp?) got hurt so that package is out)... they can be blocked up front in the running game.. which is your strong suit. Ball control and forcing Manning to beat you... I think the Vikes have a great chance at scoring the upset.. upset being relative to the standings that is.

As far as the Green Bay schedule, yep we played a tough front half with more of a cake walk in the tail end..

Anyway.. good luck to the Vikes this weekend.

Hats off boys... the Vikes looked good all around today so far.. even TJ is playing a decent game. I wonder why he doesn't run more, it is very effective when he actually pulls it down and takes off.. and maybe Chilly starts to call a few more Playaction passes with some 9 routes..

Anyway.. good game and thanks for showing up the Giants today.

he has opportunity to run, but for some reason, he stops and thinks he wants to pass, and usually gets sacked.
i think if he just took off and ran instead of trying to pass on a broken play, he'd be more successful

    Caine,

All week long, what I have had to say has fallen on deft ears......

    It's a fact!!!!!!!

When the Giants play a game at home, that they are supposed to win easily, they fall apart and lose.....When they play a game at home, and they are supposedly the under dog or not ready for the game, they totaly dominate...

Well, like I've been saying all week, and no one wanted to hear me....The Viks had no chance in the Meadows....and I said they would win.........G

    GO Figure

I LOVE THE SMELL OF VICTORY IN THE MORNING AIR.
