With the first pick in the 2006 NFL draft........

The Green Bay Packers select Reggie Bush, Running Back, The University of Southern California. Nooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!! It is very very possible that the green men from hillbilly haven will have the first pick in the draft. I know that Reggie Bush will go number 1, without question. What happens if GB takes him? Favre has someone that can play. They win the Superbowl for 7 straight years??? Seriously, I do not want to see him twice a year! Why isn't there a sea of purplepriders heading for the nearest cliff to toss themselves off? Everyone seems to be so calm. THE PACKERS COULD GET REGGIE BUSH! Why aren't you all crying????????

Heisman's are often busts, but usually at the QB position. The last heisman winner to win a Superbowl was Marcus Allen.

Here we go with people stating facts without knowing what they are talking about. Hell, you on the internet already, do a quick search if you are not sure.

What about Desmond Howard? Not only did you miss this, he was the fricken Super Bowl MVP for crying out loud.

And what makes this even more funny, he played for the PAckers when they won it and that is who this thread is about.

I think it's more 90/10 go to pros-stay in college
if he's guaranteed to go #1 he's cashing in right then.

Agreed. He is sure to cash in this year. Whereas if he plays one more year off college he could get an injury that could ruin his career. Too risky not to get paid.

It's gonna take a HECK OF A LOT MORE than Bush to make the Pack a Super Bowl contender. This team is decimated!

I hope D2D comes back and reads this. I would love to know what he was thinking.

Who is to say that Bush would be willing to play for Green Bay? He might not want to play there and pull an Eli Manning stunt.

Bush, White, and Lienart might be 3 of the top 5 picks!

IMHO, I think White would be a better fit for the Packers offense.
I used to be indecisive, now I m not so sure!
