I LOVE LOVE LOVE Jim Rome though many hate him because they don't actually listen to his radio show, which is the best on sports talk radio.Same old tired QB arguement doesn't fit here.
I like Jason's controversial style. He fills in for Rome sometimes. He's controversial but knows his pooh.
Snow, one of his points was that Ted started to rebuild rather than provide Brett with a supporting cast.
Had they not drafted Rogers, they could have drafted someone who would help the team immediately, instead of sit on the bench for 4 years.
Whitlock and Rome are huge friends and that is where I was first exposed to Whitlock. Now, he is probably my favorite sports columnist. And I am in the news industry ... I read so many columns about so much shit it is ridiculous and I still love Whitlock on a regular basis.

Might be a bit early to declare yourself correct, but here's to hoping we were wrong.
Granted, you're right, it would have to be one hell of a slump... but I don't see us being one-and-out in the playoffs much of an improvement... actually, it wouldn't be one at all.
I will reserve my judgment till then.

Re: Favre trumps Thompson soundly
Rodgers shows promise, although the offensive line looks worse than it is due to Rodgers' apparent inability to get rid of the ball when he gets out of the pocket or step up when the pocket closes in on him.
It is understandable why they moved on, but, I hope Ted Thompson and all the Packers' front office gets hatemail from the fans/owners and they implode making Mr. Walking Corpse of the Raiders look like a team-building genius.

But to Ted's defense, what do you do with wishy-washy Favre.
It is great that he is playing for us right now, but just think about the anx that Chilly and us here at PPO are going to go through this offseason.
"Not sure I am going to be emotionally into it next season, not sure if I can come back".......... and so forth.
Ted did not handle this gracefully at all and for that I say he is the idiot he is being made out to be.

Ted said he was moving on and his ego wouldn't allow him to eat crow.“What takes a quarterback to the next level is not arm strength or mobility or any of that stuff. It’s the ability to play on critical downs. Manage third downs, or red zones or four-minute or two-minute situations"

Some have said they though that Favre never intended to go back to the Pack.
Even when he showed up in GB, he didn't have the intention of playing there.
What if that is true?
Now Ted just has to sit there and look stupid.
How do you play this game against the guy that is loved my so many. Ted can't win.
We may never know the truth!
If we do, it will be some time before McCarthy, Thompson and Favre will tell the truth.

You could also show clips of the Pittsburgh game this year. If he does that in the playoffs, you'd be wrong as well.Disclaimer: I'm an idiot.
