Re: Favre still in chase to set NFL INT record

I can see that happening. You can pencil Sharper in for 2 on the 21st.He needs 12 more int's in the last 5 games to tie the record.
(HaHa I just said "pencil Sharper"). And Winfield for 1 and Griffin for 1.
You can also pencil in Smoot for a Hangover. ;DI started out with nothing, and I still have most of it!!

It'll be interesting to see what he hits first, the 277 INTS to tie the record (he's 12 away) or the 420 TDs to tie the record (he's 10 away). INTs INTs INTs
I get the most pissed off looks from people with my VKG 4 LFE Wisconsin license plate, and I LOVE IT!!

That would be to tie the record this year. There is always next year.He needs 12 more int's in the last 5 games to tie the record.

IMO, he will not retire until he gets at least the TD record.

Re: Favre still in chase to set NFL INT record
I agree singer, unfortunately he's going to stick around just to break the TD record.
He did his part to get closer.
1 TD and 2 more picks today
411 TDs
9 behind Marino to tie
267 INTs 10 behind Blanda to tie (and surpasing Tarkenton for 3rd all time)

Re: Favre still in chase to set NFL INT record
I saw his press conference after today's game and he seemed very dejected! He also looked really old, barely has any hair that isn't gray!

As of today Favre has 262 INTS.
The top three INT leaders are:
George Blanda: 277
John Hadl: 268
Fran Tarkenton: 266
The Packers will undoubtedly come out throwing this weekend.
The Viking have a chance to rack up 5 INTS and push Fran Tarkenton out of the top three.
That would be sweet.
I wish Favre would go back to his 2005 form and start tossing INTS left and right...because it sure would be nice to see the Vikings push him into the all-time lead at Lambeau in December.
According to NFL.com, Farve has 414 Td's to 273 INT's

Re: Favre still in chase to set NFL INT record
And if we're really lucky, maybe we can see him break his own NFL record for most INT's in a single game.... again!

Chuch.
