Re: Favre to Peppers: “Beat the Packers”

Somebody's always making a mountain out of a mole hill. Just a private moment between a couple old vets thrown out for others to read far to much into it.

Rabble rabble rabble.. Brett uttered a word of spite towards the Packers.

Hardly shocking.. and even less noteworthy.

Give him a few moments.. he will contradict himself somehow.. lol.

Re: Favre to Peppers: “Beat the Packers”

Favre is still carrying a grudge against the Packers. LOL!

    Love it!

I wonder how that makes GB fans of their icon feel?

Even by losing, he still screwed the Packers one last time by taking GB out of a divisional Championship shot.

How many years will it be before they retire his number?

    Will they retire his number?

What are the odds he signs with GB for a day to retire a Packer in the future?

That was quite a dick move, to be honest. I never really had that big a problem with Favre. His actions were always jutifiable. Yes, it's obvious he joined the Vikes to get back at the Packers, but they were also the perfect fit for him. I could imagine him going there. Even if they way he did it was, again, quite dickish.

Lol. The way he got slammed into the turf after just a couple of minutes of play... I'll forgive him that one.

That might actually take a few years now, yeah.

    100% certain they will.

    Around 99%, as well.

    These are great questions!

What will Packers fans do? Will they boo him like they did this year? My guess is that they will forget all the Brent stupid shit and embrace him. What a confused bunch.

You know I think too much is being read between the lines in Favre's comment. IMHO Favre was just acknowledging the Bears rival to the playoffs and division is the Packers and if Favre was in the same spot with Rodgers at in the same circumstance he'd tell Aaron to go get the Bears. It would be different if he dished Peppers after Pep statement and stated he hopes the Packers now rip them, or if he just said yeah thanks, bye I can't say anything to you with out it hitting the media and some spin put on it where my character can have some shots taken at it......
I can live with that thought process.

He predicted that Brett would contradict himself?

Maybe he'll make some more wild predictions like the sun rising in the east tomorrow and the Bills not going to the play-offs next season.
