Re: Favre to Peppers: “Beat the Packers”

I'm always amazed at how friendly Favre is with all the players from opposing teams.

Not friendly enough with the guy that slammed his head into the hard frozen turf, though.....guess that was one he missed.

I am quite sure that Peppers would not have done the head-snap to the turf......nor would a lot of others in the league.

You have to watch out for the newcomers still trying to prove something.

I hope the Packers lose too. Every game. For the rest of eternity

Actually he did get it done. According to the haters Favre played horrible again. He was the starter and he gets an L. Bears are NFC North Champs. Now the Bears can give the final blow. Seems plain and simple to me. How is that lame? Favre got plenty done against the Pack last year. Too bad his OL failed to step up this year.

I wonder what the OL would say about who stepped up and who didn't?

The OL would just grunt and reach for another cheeseburger.

Who cares? The nation knows how much they suck. Even TJ and Webb found that out. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

In all seriousness, a mobile QB would solve our problems. Oh wait....LMFAO!

You know I think too much is being read between the lines in Favre's comment. IMHO Favre was just acknowledging the Bears rival to the playoffs and division is the Packers and if Favre was in the same spot with Rodgers at in the same circumstance he'd tell Aaron to go get the Bears. It would be different if he dished Peppers after Pep statement and stated he hopes the Packers now rip them, or if he just said yeah thanks, bye I can't say anything to you with out it hitting the media and some spin put on it where my character can have some shots taken at it......

Also......Favre had a concussion at that time and was still calling people by the wrong name a couple days later.

He just said the first thing that came to mind and probably would not remember the conversation now.
