    Fav-RAY passes up Fran

I will say this, Fran had it tougher than Favre or any modern QB and he played against better defenses too. I mean the Vikes played both the Steel Curtain and the Dolphins D in the Super Bowl...no easy task.

The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away...Favre takes a record from a Viking and then a Viking takes a record from him...and time marches on!

    Fav-RAY passes up Fran

I don't think we can rip on them (packer fans) for posting when a packer (such as Favre) passes one of the vikings (Fran) on a record list because we do it too (like Daunte's 18 TD's, breaking Favre's record 16 for most TD's passing in the first five games of a season). I must say though, it is a different era of football now than when Fran played. Also, fan4favre, why is rushing yards and TDs by the QB unimportant or meaningless stats? Just curious.

I get the most pissed off looks from people with my VKG 4 LFE Wisconsin license plate, and I LOVE IT!!

Congrats to the Crafty Old Magician of Limburger Field! :thumbright: But I believe eventually a healthy Culpepper will match and surpass Fav'Ray's numbers. :notworthy:

No, it's because a quarterback is a passer, quarterbacks aren't expected to have scrambling ability, and they don't need it to be good. On the other hand, you have to be able to pass to be a good qb.

Records are made to be broken, whether it is Tark's, Marino's, or Favres. I wish Daunte the best of luck, because it will mean he will have had a sensational career instead of the roller coaster he's had so far.
