The ugly business developments have felt somewhat personal for Favre. After playing in Green Bay for 13 seasons, he decided to come back for a 14th for a chance to win, and not for the off-the field soap operas that have developed this off-season.

Oh well, last year he predicted a Super Bowl run and we all know how well that prediction turned out....

Maybe he's trying a little reverse psychology this year?

Favre is a veteran and he knows his team is going down the crapper.

He is just saying that because if they do bad, madden will compliment miss farvay about how smart he is and how knowledgeable he is, and if they do decent (not happening) madden will say" Favre is such a leader their team is sturggling and he pulls thru for them!" ethier way madden will be on #4's side.
