Wow, arent we at war? and are legislators are voting to honor a football player. I hate our government. They have to have better things to do then vote on a resolution for this.
Please do not give Packer fans more to laugh at other than our team.

These are State Legislators from Wisc.
They may be from WI, but this, unfortunately, is the US govt.

WASHINGTON -- By voice vote today, the House passed a resolution honoring Green Bay Packers' quarterback Brett Favre for his charitable works and for setting the National Football League's record for career touchdown passes.

"Today, the United States House of Representatives offers this praise to Brett Favre, to his family, to the Green Bay Packers and to the people of Wisconsin, who together own the most storied team in professional sports," said Rep. Steve Kagen, an Appleton Democrat whose district includes Lambeau Field.
    Oops my bad.

I am sure Blanda would like them to... Brett will have a bunch of them due to longevity; yes even the TD mark is one of them. The most impressive stat that Brett carries is the winning percentage and the games played/started streak, the rest are relative to the years.

Amen brother.. Some of the worst fans in the nation, flat out agreed. Poor sports, I really believe they would boo the Pope if he suited up for any sport within that city.

When Brett sets the record this weekend, I sure hope the NFL will stop the game for a five minute speech on the Jumbo-tron of Blanda passing the torch!

That was horse $hit two weeks ago.....Set the record in YOUR house....fine....stop the game and kiss his a$$.
I know that, as a Vikings fan, the last thing I wanted to see ON OUR HOME TURF was sundried wrinkle a$$ Moreno swapping virtual spit with Brett.

I'd much rather see the Packers miss the playoffs because of their talent then because of their injuries.
