    wow...

    Petersen 5.63 ypc average
    Grant
    5.08 ypc average.

Whoopie. A whole half a yard.

As far as the total goes, how many wins did those bring you? And since when did this become a Petersen vs. Grant conversation? I simply said that Grant is good and was pointing out to some unknowledgable points that he does not "suck".

Well, duh - of course that's what's going to happen, Tripp!

I think you'd like the magnetic bumper sticker I have for my car:

"My other ride is your mom."

    =Z=

Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!

What are you trying to prove/say?

Peterson is leaps and bounds better than Grant.

    296... that's all I gotta say.

But I might as well add ROY, Offensive ROY, Pro Bowl MVP

i hate to say this, but i dunno why u are arguing this. Trip never said Grant was better and AD, when he clearly said AD is better than Grant, it just confuses me. Theres no reason to throw AD stats at him, thats just unfair lol

Ya know, the stats don't really show a huge difference when you average the attempts.

296? BFD. It was one game. and if 8 games don't mean much (in some of your eyes) then one certianly doesn't.

Besides if that is the logic (looking for straws to support a house) then Grant has more playoff yards than AP, plus he has 200 in one playoff game. Whoop de doo!

Some on this thread were discounting Grant as being a fluke.

You are not understanding my point that I tried to tell you before. Ryan Grant will not be as good as he was last year. Favre not being here will make a difference whether you want to believe it or not.

It's something no one has EVER done in the history of profootball. Marinate on that.

I seriously doubt that many defenses were game planning against Ryan Grant (as they were for Adrian Peterson).
Grant is a decent back...no more.
To attempt to put him in Adrian Peterson's class is foolish...but then you ARE a Green Bay Packers fan, so 'nuff said.

Re: Did anyone else notice this?

1 ok one not only was it 296 yards but it wasnt against a weak team it came against the Chargers.

2 what happened to samkon gado he played well in the last half of the season he played for the packers and he is now a 3rd stringer on some other team.

    3. im not trying to show of AD but having 8 good games mean nothing really just as i told a giants fan (keeps giving me crap about eli)
once the player plays up to that for a couple of seasons and more than ill say good player till then there just another cog thats up and down

same goes for AD he pulls what he did last season this upcoming season and he'll truely be the man.
till then he played great and i im glad to have him on the VIKINGS!!!

Who the hell put him in AP's class? My God people! You all started throwing around AP's numbers, not me. He averages 1/2 yard more
per rush for the season than grant. BFD!!!

    Marinate on that.

And just for the record, I think Delviking said it best. one game, one season does not a great player make. So at this point I would say that Both grant and AP have to back up their solid performances from last year.
