Conn. boy finally takes off Packers jersey after 1,581 days

The story title line is misleading. He didn't wear the jersey all day everyday. It was washed every other day.

That pic doesn't do "The Shirt" justice. You can't see all the holes that are in it.

I also have a shirt on underneath it which kindof hides the holes as well.

If Singer can wear the same underware and get away with it for 3,000 plus days straight, I don't see anything wrong with the kid and his shirt also.

Singer is right. This kids dad was on the radio here in enemy territory and said this along with that he did not always wear it as a main shirt but as an undershirt. This whole thing is a plot to get attention and free autographs from Favre. He has already got a bunch because of this. He stated that he hopes to be included in the retirement of his jersey during the opener.
