    Brett Favre is TPT

I wish I could have sat next to Favre when he heard about the Packers picking Rodgers even though there defense is probably the worst in the NFC (made the worst when the Vikings wooed their best defensive player and leader [it's like the general in an army during the civil war switching from the south to the north]) Favre was prob. thinking, ok Cody is still on the board and he would really help our team this year, this is going to be good. "With the 24th pick in the 2005 NFL draft, the Packers select.... Aaron Rodgers?" Favre probably ran out of his trailer screaming "WTF" before hopping on his four wheeler and riding it off.
Does it matter what anyone says here? ---The packers still suck!!!!!!!

They had to take Rodgers. That one I can see. The rest of their draft baffles me completely.

I was listening to cold pizza this mourning and the same topic came up, one of the sports writers said, he had inside info that Brett himself, told the Packs owner and coaches they better start thinking about drafting a QB for him to groom this year, because next year there may be NO FARVE around

Favre must be wondering why he came back right about now...

Ahman is an abusive, fumbling, piece of crap...
    Javon Walker is holding out...
They have done absolutely nothing to help their team, and a lot to make it worse...

I see Favre playing a year or two more and then hanging them up so I believe drafting Rodgers was the right thing to do.

honestly i feel sorry for the guy

favre is a pretty damn good football player, and in a way its kinda nice to have him going against us 2 times in a year.

but the packers sealed his retirement, and showed they cared more about the future with most of their picks.

they have a chance i believe to still make the playoffs just cause of #4, but doing NOTHING to help him win a superbowl this season just seems like a slap in the face to one of your organizations best players.

if favre did in fact tell them guys look i'm done, the rodgers pick makes sense, but like caine said, the rest of the draft is nothing but projects and reaches.

guy deserved better his last good chance.

I disagree with them havi9ng a chance this year - even with a better draft. They ahve too many holes, and Mionnesota and Detroit are looking stacked. Green Bay would be LUCKY to see 3rd place in the Division.

As it stands now, their playing for draft picks.
