Beware my Friends.. If you sign Favre...
I may have to dig up old quotes from members of this board to rehash...
;D
The biggest flip flop in sports history may take place.. all that hate turned into udder unbridled joy.. it would be worth the Packer heartache to see this fan base start to gush over #4. Get that Excuse-O-Matic ready and primed..
Since he got his release, I figure some of the members wishes just may come true.
:P

Still retired, whether or not he wants to be.

Re: Beware my Friends.. If you sign Favre...
Oh I agree Ranger.. personally if his arm was in the condition he claimed post season, I hardly believe he will be able to play at a high level this season. But as was explained on here, Brett claims he didn't need surgery.. so maybe he will give it a whirl.
But the drama on both accords, in Viking nation and Packer nation will be fun to observe regardless.
Favre of the 1st half of last season, pre injury, still could play at a high level. I have nothing but respect for Brett as a player.

You KNOW you can't stay away.
It's like putting a chocolate cake in a room full of fatties...they know they don't need it, and they know they shouldn't eat it....but it just feels so good to be bad.
Besides, Ultra will finally be able to dye his original Brett Favre game jersey purple....that should be worth something right there...
