Re:The 10 Toughest Losses in Green Bay Packers Histor
Eagles fourth and 26 is number one in my book. We would've beat the Panthers the following week and made the Super Bowl. IT was the beginning of the end for Mike Sherman, the gutless wonder who punted on fourth and one when he had the best Packer running attack in recent decades (Ahman Green in his prime).
Note ME-ME-ME player Darren Sharper playing FIVE YARDS past the first down marker, and late to advance to Mitchell after the pass was released. MORON.
Vikes loss to 8-8 division rival was also embarrassing, but the Pack wasn't that good that year.None

I'd say the Vikigns/Packers game wasn't really a tough loss, in that we were kicking their asses all over the field. The Eagles game would be rough, because in an impossible situation, the Eagles come through to win.

Re:The 10 Toughest Losses in Green Bay Packers Histor
I didn't look at the link, well, because I don't wanna...
The 4th and 26 is an obvious irritant for me---living in Pennsylvania...
I don't know which game they picked, but as a Packer fan going back to the Lombardi era, I will only say this.
GD Rice fumbled that football. What a complete hose job, and for those that do not know it, just to add total insult to injury, that catch by team obliterator
LAUNCHED HIS FRIGGIN' CAREER
He was DONE as a WR prior to that catch. He had lost his confidence, it can be very legitimately argued that you would have NEVER heard of friggin' T.O. were it not for that one single friggin' catch...
It shouldn't even matter, because RICE FUMBLED THE FRIGGIN' BALL
This thread sucks ass. I hate it. I don't know what/who they picked, but Rice fumbled, pure and friggin' simple.
lol
Training camp is back !
Good luck (not great luck, mind you) my purple friends, The Pack is back, see you in the NFC Championship game (after we [probably] split with you in the regular season)

hehehe.
Words just don't do this one justice. Watching it is so much better.Rodgers missed a wide open Greg Jennings which what could have won the game.

Thanks for showing the obvious but uncalled facemask before Rodgers' fumble. Ridiculous no-call by another blind official.

Re:The 10 Toughest Losses in Green Bay Packers Histor
or not. His head didn't move. Official thought it would have been an incidental facemask, but since they got rid of that penalty last year, no call. Perreira even said it should not have been called.
Fact is, Rogers fumbled before the facemask, Packers fans cling on to the 'missed call' to legitimize that loss, when really, they ignore the fact two plays prior, they missed a sure TD, and Rackers already msised a 34 yard FG to win the game. They had no business winning that game and they didn't.

Re:The 10 Toughest Losses in Green Bay Packers Histor
There is no requirement for the head to move for a facemask call. And that jerk saying it was the right call was just NFL CYA that isn't even worth listening to anymore. I've watched the replay and the face mask is contacted before the ball comes out.
It's a shame that such a great game was decided by such a bad call. That's all I'm saying. Not that the Pack would have definitely won if the call had been made. Had Warner got the ball back, it would've been lights out for the Pack anyway.None

Re:The 10 Toughest Losses in Green Bay Packers Histor
Any chance this weeks games could be one of the biggest losses in Packer history?
I know it's only week seven, but it's also the packs last chance to get even with Favre. Also it would push them to 3rd in the division with a very tought stretch of games ahead.
