    Yeah you're still playing, but here's a glance at your 08 squad, those that are signed through the year, taking out the RFA's and UFA's, and please tell me what the hell exclusive rights free agent means
    Who needs to be cut, who needs to restructure, and who would you like to add to the mix, taking in salary cap considerations, and being realistic
    I'm bored at work, so that's why i took the time to do this

    Grant is an exlusive FA, could someone explain what that means please???

    James Jones: 2008: $370,000 7/26/2007: Signed a four-year, $2.407 million contract. The deal included a $742,250 signing bonus. The final season can escalate to the low restricted free agent tender based on playing time, or to $1.417 million with 15 percent playing time in 2007 and 30 percent playing time in 2008 or 2009, or 76.6 percent playing time in any two seasons (2007-2009).     An Exclusive-Rights Free Agent (ERFA) is an NFL player who is not under contract, but has only two years of NFL experience. If his former club makes him an offer at the three year veteran minimum salary, then that's it, he has to take it or leave the NFL. Exclusive-Rights Free Agents have no right to negotiate with other teams. They are "free" only in the sense that they're free to quit.

    In other words, both Grant & Jackson will be resigned by the Packers this year at a salary of $370,000 each.
