Thread: Your Draft Predictions

With under 3 weeks until the draft, its time to start making some predictions, either for the Vikings draft or the draft in general. That doesn't mean mock drafts, but just general predictions. I'll start:

1. The Vikings won't take a WR or TE on the first day.
2. The Vikings will take a quarterback before round 5.
3. The Vikings will make at least one trade up to get a player they covet, and also one trade down.
4. The Vikings will acquire at least one draft pick in the '09 draft.
5. The Vikings will draft at least 3 lineman (offensive or defensive).

6. There will not be a trade in/out of the top 5.
7. There will be 4 offensive tackles taken in the top 15.
8. There will be no WRs taken in the first half of the first round, but at least 4 in the second half.
9. At least once in the first round, 3 players at the same position will be taken in succession.
10. Colt Brennan will go undrafted.

1) the vikings wont take a running back with there first pick

We will still have at least 25 posters on here that will accredit all draft actions to the head coach and not Rick Spielman.

We will have an indicator that Mount McKinnie won't be a Viking long as the Vikes will take a OT at 17.

We will have an indicator that Mount Mckinnie will get a healthy suspension as the Vikes will take an OT with thier 2nd pick.

The Vikings will draft at least 3 players that none of us have never heard of.

At least 10 posters on here will say that the Chiller was stupid for taking those 3 players.
They won't have anything to validate that complaint other than the fact that they don't know the kids names.

2 Vets (Klieny/Hicks) won't be with the team this year as the team cuts them to make room for a couple of new rookies. At least 15 posters will be calling for the Chillers head because of this.

The Vikes will pass on a DE in the first round and everyone will say its the worst draft ever.

We will Draft a QB from rounds 3-5

There will be a pick in the rounds 1-3 that makes all of us go
