Younger sibling racking up credibility in Vikings camp

[b][u][size=13pt]Younger sibling racking up credibility in Vikings camp

Erin Henderson wants to be judged on his own merits, even though the Vikings rookie is playing in (at least close to) his brother's shadow.

If it wasn't for the ACL injury in 05', Erin would have been drafted in the top 3 rounds. We scored signing him, and it appears he is going to be a big contributer this year.

As long as the Vikes are smart about it and keep him on the roster.
He is definitely going to be a part of this team and will really help us.

With the Heath injury he has a good chance of making but then who does not make the team? Maybe Dugan?

I don't think it will even come down to that.
Its all about which LB's will make the team, Ciurciu is pretty much a lock because of his special teams abilities - which will be needed with Farwell gone.
So basically it comes down to Erin, Derrick Pope, David Herron, and Rufus Alexander.
Depends on if they keep 5 or 6 LB's... will suck seeing Alexander go since he also has a lot of potential, but hasn't had the chance to show it due to injuries
    ???

    Time will tell

I'd say he's got a good shot at making it, even possibly being the #4 linebacker on the team.

Vikings invested a lot of money in Dugan, so I can't see him going anywhere.
I can see Erin for sure making it, as well as Circiu and maybe Rufus.

Considering last year we kept 6 lb's, with Thomas, Farwell and Circiu, i'm willing to bet we do the same again this year.
I see Rufus being our Thomas of this year, a versatile player, who can learn all the LB positions.
