Re:Young Vikings will have to fight for work

Good read, thanks Marr. This is gonna be a tough roster to make. Would not be surprised to see Shuler take Dugan's spot. Very interested to see/hear what the kid, D'Imperio does with his move to FB...I think it will be a success. It looks to me like there are going to be some casualties to last years roster. Perhaps Jayme Mitchell, Abdullah, Frampton, and Erin Henderson, for example. All are fringe guys, who need to continue to impact special teams. Mitchell is a decent pass rusher, but, see Griffen...just sayin'.

On paper, the CB's look pretty good, but, 2 games against Rodgers, Stafford, and Cutler will test all. I'm happy we drafted Griffen, we are gonna be chasing QB's all year and need depth. I think the OL will have a better year, given the reads we've had re: Hutch and Herrera. Also, this is Sully's second year as a starter.

Another for whatever it's worth observation: Check out Webb's release point on that picture in the article...6'3" with that release, tough to block that pass. I actually think he will make it, just a great athlete and clutch performer...gonna be hard to hide him on the practice squad, given his performance at the Senior Bowl, and, his accomplishments in college.

Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent

As much as I want to see Tahi gone, until they bring in a replacement he is probably staying
