There are a lot of questions surrounding Vince Young. Like mentioned he doesn't line up under center, he has always played behind a very protective line that has been one of the nations best.

I see him slipping, if he slipped to the Vikings I would pass on him.

Vince Young record as a starter at Texas 30-2, completed 65% of his passes last year. Won a national championship over a team that had not lost in almost 3 years.

Jay Cutler record was 11-34 at Vanderbilt.

If he falls to the 17th spot I think we take him, a winner is a winner!
What we've got here is failure to communicate.

    I don't believe we'll get a shot at Cutler.

If we should take a gamble on QB, I would rather go for guys like McNeal or Whitehurst. Or even Brodie Croyle disbite his injury issues. He was rated very high before the knee thing. Then perhaps we could snatch one of them after the 1st round

Thanks to PPE for the sig.

16 on the Wonderlinc is fairly low, on NFLdraftcountdown you can find everyones results and a link to results from past QB's. But to make a note about him scoring a 16, Donovan Mcnabb scored a 16 on his first test at his combine too.

If this was posted already, my apologies (didn't see it though...)

Wonderlicgate - Despite bombing test, Young still an impressive talent

Im saying 16 is average.. And that's what he got..

I'm not saying 6 would be my top score.. I'm just saying I would be able to get 6

The main difference is that Vince got a 16 on his SECOND shot at the test. It's becoming the accepted thinking that he got a 6 legitimately, but was given a do-over because Mack Brown lost his marbles after the poor score was leaked.

I think people are talking themselves out of drafting Young because they're scared about his technical play.. But what about these so-called intangibles that are being used to hype up Leinart and Cutler? Surely Young has higher intangibles than those 2?! If Texas only had a good O-Line (as everyone has basically said), then he must have carried the rest of the team on his back? Everyone is starting to dismiss the Rose Bowl performance now, to those who are saying "yeah, so?", I'd say go back and watch it.. There is absolutely NO DOUBT he carried that team, both Offence AND defence.. Surely his coolness in the huddle means something to teams now?

That's something that annoys me about the Combine, scouts and analysts quickly forget what happened in the games that made these players get draft consideration in the first place!

    Oh well..
