Seems like he would fit Childress's system???
Would we trade for him? Probably not.
I dont think so, but I definitely would not mind seeing us make a play for him as our back-up and letting BJ go ... then if Daunte cant get to snuff ... move Schauby on in.
from what ive seen, Shaub should be a starter, not a backup.
but we've got culpepper. and whether or not i like culpepper or you like culpepper.. it sounds like he's gonna be our starter. so getting schaub wont happen unless a huge setback happens in dauntes recovery.
lol trade Brad johnson for Shaub.
That seems like a fair deal.......I know atlanta wants to get rid of Schaub to a) get something for him in this QB shortage league b) reinforce their committment to Vick - he is looking over his shoulder
BJ is more like Jeff George underneath...........I don't think ATL needs another QB contraversey.
It will be interesting to see if ATL keeps Schaub and benches Vick if he struggles again. Mora seemed to get a little impatient toward the end of this year. Before Schaub becomes a free agent - ATL will have to decide between Vick & Schaub at some point
I like Schaub, what would we have to trade? Onterrio? Is Doug Chapman still around? Can't we just unload Kelly Cambell, Nate Hatchett, and Jake Reed for him?

The Falcons bench Vick? Never. No matter how atrocious his performance, I don't think they'd have the balls to do it, they would be afraid of upsetting Vick's fanclub which consists of about the majority of Atlanta.. instead of doing what's best for the team. Just a lame popularity contest, not who's the best for the job.

Don't be so sure Daunte will be our starter next year. Go read the article that was posted in the "Culpepper to Oakland???" thread. It really puts a view on the topic of us getting rid of Culpepper and makes it seem like we may not have C-Pep after all.Quote:
