Didn't Ahmed Plummer retire earlier this month? Of those players listed Nate Wayne intrigues me the most.

Yes he is an 11 year veteran or so. This is allmost the end of the line for him. But he is a good player, and he could serve as a backup. I think he's done as a starter.

The Panthers are now going with DeShawn Foster, and the newly drafted DeAngelo Williams, so thats why they didn't retain him.
I hate the idea of bringing in veterans as a back up..

Caus when we do.. Then we get a situation like our qb situation. A backup is not somebody to teach a rookie. A starter is to teach the rookie, and a coach is to teach a rookie! The backup spot should be for people who can play if need be! Not some spot so that the wisdom of an older player can be imparted to another. If you make the roster, you must be expected to play like a starter, not be inferred as a mentor.

So when we got johnson, it was known he could have to play.. SAME WITH MCMAHON...

Don't get people that you know are old, or arent the best you can get for the money you are willing to spend.
i m better than you, so just give up...

Not enough? Need a QB? Kerry Collins and Jeff Blake are available. At
running back, Stephen Davis, J.R. Redmond and Jonathon Wells can be

or Kevin Johnson? A tight end? Chad Lewis is out there. Defensive line
needs? Grady Jackson, Marco Coleman and Travis Hall aren't doing
anything. Linebacker? Nate, Wayne, Peter Boulware and Michael Barrow
don't have any short-term plans. Need a veteran d-back? Ty Law, Deion
Sanders, Lance Shulters, Antuan Edwards, Jerry Azumah, Terrell
Buckley, Ahmed Plummer and Terry Fair are all looking for work.
how old is stephen davis.. i thought he was good, must have been misinformed if he's still open
He had a pretty good year for me in my fantasy league last year, untill he - once again - went down with injury. He might not have the body for it any more. But I think he'll find a team to be a backup, or redzone guy.
The Redskins should bring him back as a Redzone guy if he has any juice left...I always thought that it was a big mistake by them to let him go in the first place...especially after Joe Gibbs came back...Davis was a PERFECT Gibbs type of player. He would have tore it up in Gibbs' offensive schemes!
