    Will Wiggins get cut & Kleinsasser get a new contract?

    I found these offseason moves & "likes" in a Vikings offseason article;

    The Vikings' salary cap space, widely reported at $12.4 million last month, will jump to nearly $30 million by tonight because of incentive calculations and other pre-market maneuvers. In addition to releasing Smoot and possibly Wiggins, the Vikings also are attempting to reach a contract extension with defensive end Darrion Scott -- a restricted free agent -- and would like to restructure the contract of tight end Jim Kleinsasser, whose base salary is $2.9 million for 2007.

    Man, I love that somehow our cap space will go up to 30 million.. That is sweet.. I like Kleinsasser, but I think his time in Minnesota is well past expired.. What did he have last season, like 7 catches? Not worth the money anymore.. Get guys in here that will earn that money.. I know alot of it has to do with play calling, but there is a reason why he wasn't used all that much last season.. It is a dumb move to pay a guy 2 mil a year to block all the time..

    I'm glad we're resignin Scott, hes reliable.It'd be great to re-work Kleinsasser's contract do to him not producing recently.I think hes a solid blocking TE, and Childress likes that.

    The cap space shouldn't be a surprise.
    That is pretty much was the estimate has always been.
    The 12 mil that kept getting posted was the cap space at that particular time, not what it would likely be when free agency hit.

    For some reason these damn Project Managers keep pestering me to actually work during business hours, and that's seriously cutting into my PP.O time. ;D

    Cut Klinny the guy used to drop everything now he can't run after he catches the ball and he falls down without anyone touching him.

    Save the 3 mill and get somebody that is a good TE!
