i really hope so.
i mean, are we 100% confident koren will be a #1 calibur? im not.
would nate be a #1 calibur reciever? probably not.
i dunno. hes one of my favorites.
Depends ENTIRELY on how big the contract sheet he signs is.
If it's small enough that we can realistically afford to keep him, then great. Otherwise, I think we'll just take the third round pick and let him walk.
The beauty of it is that we don't HAVE to...but I think that he would thrive in this offense as a possession receiver. He could easily be the #2 WR to our speedy #1s like TWill and KRob. I just hope that there are enough balls to throw to all of our WRs to keep them happy!
the vikes need atleast 1 canuck(burleson was born in canada, raised in the states)
I think Koren is our best bet for a number one receiver, whether he can or not will be seen. Nate probably won't get much of an offer just because of all up and downs last year.
The fact that we only gave him a low level tender, instead of paying him a little more with the high level tender, lends me to believe that we really didn't have any intentions of keeping Burleson this offseason and are more then happy to add another 1st day pick.
I personally think we were chosing between Burleson and Koren and we chose Koren of Burleson. I'd hate to see him go, becaue he is a great kid, but we are so deep at WR, that we can afford to let him go. I am sure Childress wants to see what Williamson can do this year, in an offense that plays to his strengths.
I think he will do good in our new offense. We do have a few WR's, so if we do lose him, at least we get a 3rd rounder. I don't think seahawks can afford him now. The Texans are the only other team I heard interested in him, but they canceled their visit.
I think our coaches see T.Taylor as a more than capable posession WR, so i believe they will let him walk. Although I would love to keep him on the team. But it sounds like seattle really likes him, and he's from there.
I really really hope we keep him. I will be very sad if he ends up going to Seattle. Almost as sad as DC with the Culpepper trade :crybaby:
