    Will the loss of Tomlin affect the Viking Draft Board regarding DBs?

    Did Tomlin contribute to the effectiveness in drafting DBs such as Griffin, Blue, and picking up free agents (Gordon?).... ?

    Or, did other defensive coaches, or Childress, or Foley or ... spot Griffin, Blue, etc.?

    Or, were the DBs selected last year simply good, coached well, and fit in well ?

    How will losing Tomlin affect the effectiveness of the Vikings in drafting quality defensive players (pass rushing DE)?

    When we stop to think about it, most folks behavior isn't perplexing after all !

    We got Scott Studwell and Robby B, I'm not worried about our picks... now will it affect our play on the field? we'll see

    Great question.

    My assumption and hope is that Scott Studwell and his scouts have a big role in finding players to meet the needs of the coach no matter who that is.

    Short answer, no effect.
