Re: Wiggins let go
I can't show any disrespect to a guy who led our team for 2 years in catches.
Kinda wish they would have kept him. If nothing else, for depth purposes."There is good and there is evil. And evil must be punished. Even in the face of Armageddon I will not compromise."

Wiggins doesn't fit into the offensive scheme Childress is trying to implement in Minnesota.
Keeping him here wouldn't be fair to the team or to Wiggins.
This way he has the opportunity to sign with another team that fits him better, and the Vikes can look for a TE that will work better with the KOA.Zeus wrote:
When are you going to realize that picking out the 20 bad throws this year and ignoring the 300 good ones does not make your point?

The problem with that is he's being paid starter money. And he won't restructure (imo) because he knows he'll get it from another team.I can't show any disrespect to a guy who led our team for 2 years in catches.

Re: Wiggins let go
The two posts above made very good points.
Not talking about the KOA one."There is good and there is evil. And evil must be punished. Even in the face of Armageddon I will not compromise."

Re: Wiggins let go
I don't see him as a starter.. Maybe for a team that likes to check down and hit thier TE for 3 yards as a last resort.. They might find some value in him

Whoops.

Maybe it was because our KAO was about as exciting as a KOA last year... ;DZeus wrote:

Re: Wiggins let go
I enjoyed Wiggins time here with the Vikings, he had sure hands and always played tough....The hurdling did scare me at times......But I'm sure someone will pick him up very quickly..
I wish him the best.....
I LOVE THE SMELL OF VICTORY IN THE MORNING AIR.

A dump off pass for 3 or 4 yards is waaaay better than incomplete, interception, or intentional grounding.

Re: Wiggins let go
That's the key there though.. It is ussually 3rd and long
And we end up punting.. Cuz he catches it and is tackled immediatly
Graham the other hand.. Is quick and strong and could shed the tackles and actually fits the WCO
Im out peace
