VIKINGS: Wiggins to be released

The Minnesota Vikings have informed tight end Jermaine Wiggins that he will be released today. Wiggins led the Vikings in receptions in 2004 with 71 and in 2005 with 69.

Good..

To be honest I never really liked the guy.. He was just a check down.. He would sit in the same spot and no one would be around so he would get an easy 4 yard reception everytime..

ANYONE could have done that

I agree with V4L.

I'm done with the 4 yard checkdowns. I appreciate what he's done but his style doesn't mesh with the WCO.

Again, no surprise here at all.. Now if Kleinsasser doesn't agree to a restructure, he will be another one to hit the road.. Wiggins wasn't right for this offense, so good to see him go.. Hopefully he will catch on with another team quickly..

Frankly I am alittle bummed to see Wiggins "Wiggles" let go. He was one of my favorite players though he wasnt very effective last season. O'well hope it's for the better! GO VIKES!

yeah that sux, but I think we will make a strong push for Graham from NE. Also, don't be surprised if we snag Eric Moulds

Dissapointed that we didn't keep him. Hopefully they end up going after Daniel Graham in FA. I hope Jimmy restructures his contract too. He's another one of my favoraites. They guy can block.
