Re: Wide Receiver
What about Moulds from Buffalo? Pat was doing an interveiw on KFAN the week before the steeler game and he said him and moulds are good friends and talk almost everyday. Moulds wants out of Buffalo and Pat think that he would like it in Minnesota. But I dont know.

Re: Wide Receiver
Nate will probably be signed to the highest restricted FA tender, and his future will depend on how well he does next year.

I m like a Ja Rule poster, cause I'm off the wall.

Re: Wide Receiver
Nate bumming out this season is the best thing that could happen. Teams will be cautious now and since he is a RFA, they will have to compensate us for him.

Re: Wide Receiver
Why would we even consider a WR.
We should be spending some ching on the offensive line, the LB corps & a power back depending on how the Onterio situation shakes out.

Re: Wide Receiver
reggie williams is an extreme talent and he definitely has the potential to scare db's. Just a thought.

Well spoken... that O line needs a lotta fixing and we also need a bruising goal line runner, regardless of Onterrio situation. I don't see Moe Williams as our long term solution and all our other backs are scat backs apart from Fason. But we'd like to have a bigger guy like the Bus or Duckett who can just plough his way through. Why would we even consider a WR.

I know what you mean Guruzen, but if we run the vertical offense with Cpep and the speed at receivers we have, a speed back will be our best fit.

Re: Wide Receiver
After our success with Brad Johnson's conservative offense, and with a new HC on the horizon, there's no guarantees we will go back to the vertical offense, which has its risks.
Call me old school but I'd actually prefer the Bear's brand of football. Tough physical defense and a smash mouth running game to control the clock and score slowly.
