Re: Who would you want if we traded for the #1 pick?

I would take Bush as well. He has the potential to be one of THE all time greatest backs. You someone is great when all the HOF'ers they are being compared to say that the person is better than they were.

However, secondly I would take Ferguson. I can't imagine how powerful a line would be with McKinnie, Hutchinson, Birk, Ferguson, and Johnson. The best part about it would be how young they all are (except Birk). That would be a staple of a dominant offense for years and I mean dynasty type domination.

If we traded up for the #1 overall draft pick I would take:

a shot of bourbon and a revolver...

that would be sickly rediculous if we did that...

...with that said, Leinart is the position that we are lacking right now. We are fine at the RB situation.

If it did happen, you'de have to take Bush.

But to be honest with you all, I"m very happy with where our draft picks are right now....17 and two seconds plus two 3rds.....We are in for a hell of a draft.....

I agree 100%. You don't build a successful team by trading multiple picks for one player. See the Hershel Walker and Rickey Williams deals. If anyone can name one situation in draft history where a team bundled picks to move up in a draft and it had a positive impact on the team, I would like to see it.

Well since the question is who I would want if we traded for the first pick I would say it has to be Bush.

I am happy with having all of the picks we have in the first three rounds. We can get a lot of good possibilities.

i like where we are in the draft with 5 picks in the first three rounds but i would have to say Lienert. he is a great qb and you only draft what we need. if we needed a ausome rb we would have picked up edge. the draft is for the future of your team and our futured depends on a qb not a rb that i believe will be a bust!!

It is illogical, there is no need to trade up to #1 when we could trade to #4 and be garaunteed Leinart, Young, or Cutler.
