O-Line, if we don't upgrade in FA..
I would think either OG Max Jean-Gilles or OLB's Chad Greenway or DeMeco Ryans..
Yea then Maurice Drew in the 2nd round. Beineme (our new rbs coach) last coached for UCLA. He fits the west coast mold.

Here are my two top picks, and I'll eat crow if we don't pick up either at #17
My first pick would be : DeAngelo Williams...RB
My Second pick is : Chad Greenway OLB
Trust me, one of these two will be in the Purple and Gold next year....
And I'de be happy with either...
I'm going for two draft picks in a row now,,,,,,,I said a good month before the draft, we would take Troy.
We will see if I can get it right again this year...
As the the draft gets closer and closer i like taking a beast of a RT, I can't get enough of using first round draft pics on the D Line or O Line. I'm trying to prepare myself for whatever. Usually the guys that i like in drafts: Ben Watson, Troy Palumalu, Bob Sanders, ect: we don't end up drafting then they go on to have Pro Bowl years and i get to watch it from my couch.
With the 7th pick, I'd like to see Cutler or Leinart backing up Johnson and learning (hoping DC is somehow gone). A SS is needed also, but Tank Williams would be nice through free agency. IMHO.

That's a very good point, Eric Bienamy was Drew's RB coach at "fucla" , and if the Vikes spend $$$ on a free agent RB, and draft elsewhere in the 1st round, he could very well be there in the 2nd round. Drew was overlooked in the media here in L.A. because of the success of 'SC's Bush and White, but is a very tough runner. He remind's peaple of Memphis' Williams.As for the 1st round pick,this year is alot like 1997(when the Vikes took Rudd),where the team can draft at almost any position.
