• Vikings head coach Brad Childress considers the QB position the most important on the team and will discuss Daunte Culpepper's leadership ability, performance and intelligence with current and past players on the team to devise a plan for getting Culpepper ready for 2006. His health is an ongoing concern, but Culpepper has promised members of the organization that he'll be ready to play full speed by Week 1 of the regular season.

• The way we hear it, the Browns are intrigued by the potential of reserve OT Nat Dorsey, who was released by Minnesota last season. The 6-7, 322-pound Dorsey is only 22, and the Browns' OT depth would take a step forward if he were to develop.

• Don't be surprised if the Rams show a particular interest in free agents from the Saints, Vikings and Dolphins -- teams that new head coach Scott Linehan and defensive coordinator Jim Haslett are very familiar with.

I was at the Clev vs Texans game (wooohoooo!) and I sat right behind the bench and watched Dorsey roam (next to Romeo) up and down the sideline. They didn't use him much at all. One of the other guys went down for a few plays and he got in, that was it.

I thought Dorsey was traded for Flowers. I guess it doesnt really matter at this point.

He was traded to Cleveland for Melvin Fowler last season.

And Linehan had better keep his grubby paws off of our our FAs (except the ones that we don't want anyway...he can HAVE Bennett!)

Man, these rumors are just plain lame! We post rumors on here all the time about Daunte being traded, and now it says that Chidlress is getting a plan together to him ready for the season! The media is like a woman, they send mixed signals all the time!

Maybe Childress wants to see what other players think of his leadership ability to factor in to a possible trade? I dunno.
